Follow the below steps to install Informatica 8.6
- Go to command prompt and Connect to the Oracle Database.
- Create 2 database users one for domain and other for repository.
- Grant DBA privilege for both the users
- Open the Server folder and click on install setup
- Click on Next and Install PowerCenter 8.6.0
- Browse for the license file and click Next
- Accept the installation Pre requisites and confirm that your server has all the requirements
- Choose the Server installation directory; you can change to desired path and click OK
- Enable HTTPS and click Next
- Now you can find Install Button,click there and install
- Now you can see the installation going on.Wait till Installation is Over
- Installation of informatica server is done
Next we have to create a domain ,which i will be discussing in my next post.
